The AquaScale BIM Innovation Studio+ is a focused, scale-readiness intensive designed to help established aquatech companies sharpen their market position and execute with confidence.
Dates & Location: Galway, 26-28 May
Hosted by Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM), Ireland's Seafood Development Agency and Hatch Blue, the three-day in-person intensive in Galway from the 26-28 May brings together a small cohort of scaling aquatech enterprises for strategic compression, commercial pressure-testing, and execution planning.
Participants receive:
- Deep market and positioning work tailored to salmon or shrimp
- Strategic decision-making workshops focused on real trade-offs
- Go-to-market and competitive analysis with Hatch Blue Consulting
- Direct access to the full Hatch Blue & BIM team
- Tailored post-program 1-to-1 support
- A highly curated cohort of similar-stage companies
- No cost and no equity taken
Following the in-person intensive, companies continue with targeted follow-up engagement to refine execution, pressure-test assumptions, and prepare for next-stage growth.
We are seeking:
Irish and EU aquaculture scale-ups that are:
- Already active in the market (with customers, pilots, or revenue)
- Preparing for expansion, scaling, or sharper market focus
- Selling into aquaculture - not entering their first market
- Seeking strategic clarity and commercial refinement
- Ready to pressure-test assumptions in a peer-level environment
Ideal companies are working within the salmon or shrimp value chains and are asking:
“Where do we double down - and where do we stop?”
